Wears Valley Cabin, unit 72 Lone Pine Lodge, is the perfect vacation rental in the mountains to get away from it all. This beautiful one bedroom one bath cabin is tucked under the Foothills Parkway at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and features amazing views of the mountains. The cabin itself sits in Wears Valley; a beautiful community located 10 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, and just down the road from Cades Cove and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Lone Pine Lodge is the perfect cabin for honeymoons and anniversary trips.
When you enter the cabin, you immediately feel cozy in the fully furnished living room that comes equipped with a full-size upholstered sofa, leather recliner, a flat screen TV with. DVD player, and a stone stacked wood burning fireplace. There is a fully equipped galley style kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, electric stove/oven, and dishwasher. There are also several countertop appliances including blender, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, and k-cup coffee maker. Between the kitchen and living room sits the dining table and chairs, that perfectly doubles as a game table. The master bedroom features a king size bed, and comes equipped with a flat screen TV, cable TV, plush sitting chair, and a master bathroom with a tub and shower combo.
When you are not relaxing inside the cabin, you can step outside and rock your worries away in one of the many rocking chairs or sit back in the two-person hot tub and soak in the beautiful mountain views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This cabin also offers a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, and free wireless internet. My husband and I stayed just after Thanksgiving for a week. The cabin is quant and nicely appointed with all the necessities. It is close to hiking and many activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the morning and the hot tub after a long day. We will definitely return!

This was our second visit to Lone Pine Lodge. Again it was just as beautiful and comfortable as before. We enjoyed the view from the deck in the mornings and as the sun went down. Our first morning after a great nights sleep, we had a bear knock over our garbage can on the front porch. We loved the hot tub after a long day of sight seeing. Our last evening at sun down, we had three cubs and a mom come out of the woods below the deck, walk around the yard, and stopped at the grill for a quick smell. They headed up the hill towards #74 and disappeared on their journey. My wife was hoping to see some bears and this was an amazing end to a great vacation. We hope to return again and thanks for a great cabin.

What a great stay. Cabin is exactly as described, loved sitting in the deck admiring the view then the hot tube at night. Can’t wait to come back.

The cabin was exactly as we expected, as we have stayed here before. It was clean, well maintained, and when we had an issue with the shower it was fixed right away! We will definitely be back!

Lone Pine Lodge cabin 72. Is a perfect little getaway. Located jus right for privacy. My wife an I spent six nights there. The view of the back porch is spectacular. Had a small bear come visit one morning. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

We spent our 2yr anniversary in Lone Pine Lodge and it was just as described. Beautiful view and we enjoyed the swing on the deck. Will definitely come back here.

We enjoyed the cabin very much. Everything was in order when we showed up and the check in process was great. The view from the front porch was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains each morning. We enjoyed the location being away from town and secluded. Definitely on the list to stay there again.

Everything was as described. The check in process was easy with key located in lockbox. The cabin was clean, stocked well, and the furniture very comfy. The hot tub and the fireplace were wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Everything was just perfect from the time we arrived until we had to leave. Our compliments to the staff for decorating like you did. The cabin was very cozy and made you feel right at home. The view was amazing from the deck, and we enjoyed watching the sun come up in the morning and see everything come to life. We were not disappointed at all. We really enjoyed our stay at Lone Pine Lodge. We had a great time visiting the park, seeing all there is to see, eating and going to the NQC that was happening that week. Our chalet was just what we wanted. A beautiful view from the back porch. In fact we spent a good amount of time sitting there watching the mountain in front of us. We even had a visit from mama bear and her two cubs on our first morning there. We loved it and the Good Lord willing hope to come back there next year.

Loved everything about the house, but especially the porch! The place was neat, clean, and just as described on the website. Making reservations and checking in were easy, with detailed directions. Loved Wears Valley, too! We would definitely recommend this house and would love to return to see the fall colors.
