1 - 30 25th Annual Smoky Mountain Winterfest- Named ?Top 20 Events? by the Southeast Tourism Society, this four-month celebration transforms Sevierville into a gorgeous winter wonderland. November through February.
1 ? 31 Gatlinburg's 24th Annual Winter Magic - The City of Gatlinburg magically lights up the winter nights with over 2 million spectacular lights in fantastic displays throughout town. 1 - Aug 8 Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales - Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales is a spring and summer-long street performance event throughout the city of Gatlinburg featuring costumed musical performers, storytellers and artisans portraying time periods as far back as 1800.
1-3 Yellow Mustang Car Show - This is a celebration of Ford?s ?Pony? car and is located at Christmas Place Inn on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, TN. You can register your yellow Mustang, get merchandise, find out about events and get more information at www.yellowmustangregistry.com.
1-3 Circle Yer Wagens - a Volkswagen exclusive event that meets at the Sevier County Fairgrounds. Here you can buy, trade or just admire all types of Volkswagens including the iconic ?Beetle?. 8-10 Blount British Car Show - This year's Gathering, our 28th, will be held in Townsend, Tennessee, on the grounds of the Talley Ho Inn. Blount British Cars, Ltd. hosts a British Car Gathering each spring. Partnering again with the Knoxville English Auto Society and will open the show to all makes of European classic cars as well as the traditional British cars we've featured before Proceeds from the Gatherings are donated to various deserving local charities, selected by a special committee. 1-31 Autumn Colors in the Smokies - Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Autumn color displays above 4,000 feet start as early as mid-September and usually reach peak colors in the middle and lower elevations between mid-October and early November. Newfound Gap Road from Alum Cave Trailhead to Kephart Prong Trailhead, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Foothills Parkway East & West, and Heintooga Ridge Road to Balsam Mountain Campground are the best places to view the fall colors.
3-5 10th Annual Gatlinburg Fine Arts Festival - Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts campus. 16 categories ranging from ceramics and glass to watercolor and woodworking. $10,000 in prizes and purchase vouchers. Admission is free, however the program benefits Arrowmont, the Sevier County Arts Council and the Gatlinburg Boys & Girls Club art program.
